    The gift was for our six year old grandson. It is his first fishing outfit and loves it! Simple to set up and use. Giving him plenty of confidence in learning to fish. Everything he needs as a beginner, good prouduct!

    Arrived undamaged. Easy to put together and use. I enjoyed the little book about knots included. The pole was a little longer than I thought for it being a kids pole but still manageable for a little. The strength is durable. This pole has already been use to catch many catfish.

    Good rod and reel. My toddler loves having his own pole to fish with and the bag to keep everything in! Some of the stuff is very small so we had to replace it with actual side fishing tackle. Overall a good product so far and I would recommend for younger anglers.

    First fishing trip with my daughter was a bit of a struggle. Spent 40 minutes battling the wind to fix the reel while she grew restless. The line wouldn't reel back in smoothly, and the button tended to get stuck.

    Easy assembly. Wide variety of colors. The tackle box is appropriate for someone just getting into fishing. I was able to help teach my daughter how to cast with the rubber starter fish. A great pole for beginners

    Review from my 10-year-old son: "It's sturdy and casts easily, but it did get tangled at times. The bait, especially the hard lure, was excellent for casting long distances. Squids were fun to use. Tackle box is packed with lures!"

    Disappointed! Initially promising for my 9-year-old, but the reel gave up after just 15 casts. Wonder if we got a lemon. Great concept, but ended up being a letdown for a birthday present.

    Just got this pole today for my 4-year-old, so we haven't tested it yet. Initial setup is impressive, though. It's equipped with everything he'll need, and the pole feels sturdy. Excited for our fishing trip next weekend!

    Perfect size for my 9-year-old, but the casting mechanism could use improvement. Line release isn't smooth. Considering trying a heavier weight. Used it twice; it's decent for pan fishing.

    When the fishing bag was opened, all the accessories were scattered throughout the bag. They weren't in the proper storage areas within the bag. The pole hasn't been used yet as it is winter in the Adirondacks and the child is only one years old.

    I purchased this for my three year old grandchild. Pole and case appear to be good quality. Many accessories come in a small case with different compartments. One of the accessories is a small rubber fish without a hook, it's perfect for learning to cast and reel a fish in. Highly recommend this product!!!
