The construction of this rod is solid, but I do have one minor gripe. I would have preferred the portion below the reel mount to be slightly shorter. It would make casting much easier. The current length almost necessitates using both hands, giving it more of a launching motion rather than a precise cast for accuracy.

I absolutely love these rods! I've caught halibut and striped bass with them, and they are incredibly strong. They can even handle catching stingrays. The biggest fish I've ever caught, weighing around 40 lbs, was no match for these rods. I will definitely purchase them again and again because they are simply the best ever.

This rod is absolutely amazing! It collapses and extends effortlessly. It offers a sturdy feel, although it's slightly more rigid compared to other non-collapsible rods. While it may not be ideal for very small fish or those with a delicate bite, it's the perfect choice if you're aiming to catch larger fish.

I religiously bring this rod with me on my hiking and backpacking adventures. It's lightweight and easily straps to the outside of my pack, making it practically unnoticeable. Even though I'm not an extreme ultralight packer, having this rod with me enhances my trip in the backcountry.

The company has the worst customer service; it's practically non-existent. During one of my trips, the tip of my rod snapped, and I was hoping to purchase a replacement part like I would from Daiwa. However, after sending two emails, I still haven't received any response. I'm not even asking for a refund or free parts, as I mentioned in my communication. I am more than willing to pay for a replacement part. Anyway, I have decided to stop purchasing anything from them.

This rod is fantastic! It allows for long and smooth casts, reaching distances of 60-80 yards. It's also effortless to extend and collapse. The construction is excellent, and the sections remain aligned after each cast without any slipping. I'm planning to purchase another one soon, possibly later in the season.

I bought this rod in July 2017 and have used it for kayak fishing and traveling. It has been a perfect match with my Abu Garcia Orra S reel. I've caught some big fish and even put the rod under a lot of pressure, but it has held up without breaking. I still absolutely love using this rod!

I had been looking for a lightweight telescoping pole to complement my fly fishing gear, just in case I decided to switch to bass fishing. This rod turned out to be everything it claimed to be and more. I'm extremely impressed with its performance, and I have a feeling it might be the last rod I'll ever need to purchase.

I primarily use this rod for river fishing, but recently I've been trying out some surf fishing nearby during the quarantine. To my surprise, even after 3 years, this rod is still holding up perfectly without any signs of rust or falling apart. I genuinely appreciate the portability and durability of this rod. It's definitely a keeper!

Despite my initial concerns about the negative reviews, I must say this rod turned out to be fantastic. I successfully caught a massive carp weighing over 20 lbs in my local lake, and the rod held up exceptionally well. I absolutely adore how it telescopes down to about a foot and a half, allowing it to easily fit in my backpack. It's truly an incredible value for the money.

Please note that I've only had the opportunity to use this product once. It's the perfect fishing rod for hiking, compact enough to easily navigate small trails without any obstruction. Moreover, it offers a great combination of strength and smoothness during casting. I'm excited to use it more frequently throughout this summer season!

I brought this rod to Gulf Shores for our family vacation. It packs up small and extends easily. It worked great for catching smaller fish and performed exceptionally well when reeling in a large stingray. I've already purchased two for surf fishing, but they also seem suitable for bank fishing for catfish and carp.

Although I haven't had the chance to use it yet, this rod appears to be of good quality considering its price. Interestingly, I ordered the 6 ft version but received the 8 ft. rod instead. Surprisingly, I'm pleased with the mistake, and I intend to order three more 8 ft. rods. It seems well-suited for saltwater shore and shallow reef fishing.

I received this rod as a gift for my husband, and it turned out to be a fantastic choice. It's like having an umbrella, compact and always ready to use. With a lure in hand, if you stumble upon a creek or pond, you're equipped with a fishing pole at any given moment! Needless to say, he is absolutely thrilled with it!
