    Proof that you don't need to spend a fortune for a good compression pedal. Compression is a must have for any pedal board and this one works equally well on Bass and Guitar.

    This is a great sounding Marshall-in-a-box pedal for high gain rock and metal and lead. There is some noise but no more than any other distortion box and nothing that a noise gate wouldn't take care of. The controls are petty responsive also. The eq actually seems to change just a bit when sweeping thru the GAIN knob and the TONE knob has a good range of useable sound. The guts of this pedal is a CALINE CP-14 which is a Caline EnglishMan which is a Marshall-in-a-box style pedal. All analog circuitry utilising three LED clipping diodes, just fyi for those that like to know that info.

    Pedal was very well made . The body was metal , and all the moving parts worked very smoothly . For the price this was a good investment , and I would replace it with the same item . Amazon basics are what they say . Basic ,well made and durable items !

    Sturdy and durable. Has a few really decent distortion sounds. For the price it's good beginner pedal. Simple and straight forward, without all the extra stuff to trip you up.
