I don't understand why people always refer to it as a "beginner's amp". Why, because it's small and usually part of a beginner's kit? Out of the box, it feels very sturdy and is obviously well built. The controls are very responsive. I use it when I'm sitting on the couch watching soccer or something else.

I have a lot of amplifiers, big and small. Most of my equipment is in our man cave. The wife is happy!!! But I like to be upstairs at ...... So there had to be an acoustic instrument. I bought this little guy to keep the peace. It definitely fits the bill. Great sound, decent overdrive, lots of volume, no reverb (no help), but good price and well worth it. Very easy to put away. The bride is still happy, and so am I.

I toned down my expectations for this product due to its size and low price. Boy, was I surprised. It has plenty of volume for a small room and has very good range and depth. Very clear. Treble and bass are well defined. No feedback. It is well made, sturdy and easy to use controls.
