I still love this product, but it takes some practice to use it properly. A few times, when using it to make coffee, the machine would start working, but then stop working and the light would turn red. Unless I unplug the machine and plug it back in, it won't turn on for me to remove the pod. A few times, it will start up like above, and then the light will show half red and half green, indicating that the machine needs to be descaled. However, I finally figured out a way to avoid these problems. I grind coffee with espresso. I put 4 scoops of coffee in the pods and I barely pounded the coffee before putting the lid on. You actually want the coffee to be slightly elevated in the middle, because when the lid is screwed on, the coffee will squeeze the coffee sideways. Do this over the sink or trash can, as some coffee is sure to spill. Then when screwing on the cap, just lightly tighten it. In fact, I screwed the cap all the way, and then unscrewed about a quarter of a turn. Once you get the hang of this, pods work just fine. good results. You do need to pack the coffee to make it strong enough.

Great little pot. as described. The first time we use one of these, we are converts. Throwing away our coffee maker. Bring the water to a boil, pour it on the ground, let it steep, press the plunger, and pour a cup of coffee. I really like the measuring spoon with the pocket clip, and the rag to polish the pan. The breeze is breezy and the coffee tastes great. TIP: We drink four scoops of coffee per 32 ounces of water and steep for 5 minutes, which is perfect for us. So far the coffee stays hot for 1 hour. We don't like super strong coffee. I think it recommends 1 scoop per 4 oz. I would buy a long neck kettle to boil water. We're using a pan right now and it's fine but can be messy. Enjoy if there are any changes, I will.

I decided to buy this after my wife broke her second glass french press. I thought the only plus was that it wasn't breakable. However, I ended up liking it for many other reasons. It is beautifully designed and very attractive. It's easy to clean, and you don't have to worry about water spots. Coffee stays hotter as it brews, and the well-designed spout makes pouring coffee a pleasure. The pour spout on the glass press always creates a rush of water that goes all over the place, but with this metal spout I can pull the press back 2 feet and still pin the cup in order to get A well-aerated cup of coffee.

This is a great cup of coffee. Or rather, it gives coffee consumers the option to make really good coffee. I use a hand grinder for medium to coarse grinds, add 1 coffee scoop every 2 cups (I brew 8 cups full), add water at the start of the simmer and let the beans brew for 4 minutes (yes, I set the timer) , then press firmly, but not too quickly. After a few bad attempts I finally made it, but now I can make my own coffee every morning and it has become part of my morning routine. And I love red!

I bought the espresso ground coffee to try because the medium coffee ground produced diluted coffee with this capsule; the espresso ground produced an amazing coffee! Please note - espresso grinds work best with this capsule as it is designed for espresso. This has to be a consistent espresso grind because anything finer than that will cause the water to spit out and the machine to vibrate - when I grind my own coffee, I go a little too far. It works as expected. Definitely can't beat the inverse method, but this will be when I'm busy. It's like this every morning. I've spent hundreds of dollars on vertuo pods - when a pod costs between $1 and $2, it adds up too quickly. I was about to ditch the coffee maker and order a regular one until I saw this. The coffee wasn't as bold as I'd like it to be, but I'm sure it's because my premix isn't good enough - I'll be sure to order a better coffee when I finish this bag.

My husband ordered this press. He has Parkinson's and was worried he might break our glass press, so he was looking for something stronger. He chose this one because it has great reviews and because it's double-layered, the coffee stays hot longer. We all like it. We have the red one and it's very pretty. It has to be hand washed because of the surface, but that's no problem; we're going to hand wash the coffee machine anyway. I want to buy a silver coin for my son as a gift. He has a tendency to break plates, so this is perfect for him.

My husband bought me this as a gift after I broke four glass. I'm not sure if I like it, but the reviews convinced me. I have used it twice and am very excited. I warmed it up by putting hot water in it while it was brewing so it would keep the coffee warm - haven't set a time yet, b/c it's always done on short notice. I love the scoop it came with, used their suggestion for quantity & strength just right. The coffee even tasted great, all I had on hand was Folgers - the fact that it made Folgers taste great is the highest recognition I can imagine! I've never had a French press that keeps all the residue out of the coffee - the seal is so tight you don't have to hold the lid when you're pouring it lest it pop out. Very satisfied, I will definitely recommend to friends.

This product is amazing! I used the pod you reused and put a little rubber on it. It works fine, but the coffee is very weak, no matter how I adjust the coffee and tamper, the machine almost always flashes red and I have to hit start over and over again to get an espresso. The first time I used this product (following their very explicit instructions) it worked really well and gave me the most delicious espresso I've had in a long time, even better than any pod I've bought directly from all good. The quality of this product is second to none, and when I took it out of the box I could immediately feel how sturdy it was and how well it was done. They have a winner! I will get more and I highly recommend this company and this product. PS: I bought double the espresso and now use it on the coffee maker.

I bought one about six months ago and I'm still madly in love with it. My Mr. Coffee is jealous of me because I don't use it anymore. "Simple" and "stainless steel" are two of my favorite words. If the coffee is set for an hour, it will not develop that burnt taste. It will keep coffee and tea hot in most cases, but you will need to rinse the inside with hot water before brewing. Tea leaves are right, you can make tea with it. Some of my friends convinced me of my mistake and convinced me to buy tea leaves and brick teas instead of tea bags. use this. This is a revelation. The only downside to this French press is that the powder coat on the bottom looks a little rough, but I do use it every day. As long as the internals continue to work, this is a guardian.

My son has wanted a coffee capsule for years. I don't get the point, but I wanted something to store my coffee while I was cleaning out Mr. Coffee, and I also thought it would be good for camping in a tent trailer. I'm a little nervous about trying something new and feel like the direction is blurry, but no. It's easy to use. To my surprise, it was indeed the best cup of coffee I've ever had! Let the coffee warm for a full hour. The size of the inside, spoon and cleaning cloth, thank you so much! I look forward to trying the tea. Would like to say it's not only easy to use, but easy to clean; not sure why other reviewers want to tear down the whole thing; totally unnecessary. I bought the red one and it is beautiful!

I guess the only thing I can say I might not like about this is that these are not what the unit was factory set to in the first place! Honestly, the struggles involved here, both the amazing morning brew and the waste during maintenance of the clamshell pods, I can honestly say this gadget is "do it or burn it" when it comes to owning the machine - Not only do you save so much unnecessary plastic/packaging waste, but this thing will save you a ton of money on restocking the pods! (Not to mention that these specific versions of the Vertuo line can also be hard to find) This little guy works flawlessly and really feels like it was designed for the original factory packaging of these things. It's not flimsy at all so it's definitely going to last and I've benefited from curating my own coffee brand/blend selection.

I bought the stainless steel variety and I love it. It is well constructed and easy to clean and use. The coffee scoop is also well done. I've never had coffee capsules before and find it makes much better coffee than I've ever had. I also contacted the seller after the sale and got great customer service. I was looking for the most durable coffee capsules I could find and this was it. Who needs thin glass when you can use double insulated stainless steel? I preheat it before using it and my coffee stays hot long enough so I don't run out of cold coffee. I like. If you want to wash your hands in a washing machine, or just buy silver washers, it's best to stay away from red printing presses.

Outstanding I chose this french punch because its interior is calibrated so I can make a cup with precision. I use a 16oz latte. Apparently, 4 ounces is considered a cup in the coffee capsule world. Beautifully crafted. Seems to be a work of good quality. Although it's double-walled stainless steel, the outside of it heats up when you run water inside. I want to buy a bigger one for the company.

One word: awesome! The snobs who made a cup of coffee with my media thought it was the best coffee they've ever had. They plan to buy it themselves. I love that it is insulated and durable. If you preheat the coffee as recommended, it will keep the coffee at a pleasant temperature for an hour. My seller UK Crew LLC is also great. I chose silver because it can go in the washing machine, although I still wash it by hand.

I bought a red coffee that looks great on the kitchen counter and it tastes great brewed this way. I found it easy to use, easy to clean (follow the directions that came with the product), and it's just the perfect little pot for two drinkers (we use a large glass) or one drinker who wants two. It's more convenient than my drip beer and tastier coffee.

This is a great coffee capsule. Stainless steel is obviously stronger than glass, but it's also easy to clean. You can tell it's high quality construction because it doesn't allow a single coffee grounds to get into your cup. The coffee it brews is strong but good. I had to adjust the amount of coffee grounds because it could be like jet fuel. But overall the wine is full-bodied and delicious.
