Being retired thought I'd save some money and try it myself. Set aside an afternoon to do it. Started at 1pm and finished and cleaned up at 2:30pm. Very easy to do. Instructions are in the description and of course Utube. Worked great on my tub drain. If I can do it anyone can!

I've always wanted to buy one of these products. Sewer clogs happen all the time, and they're always unexpected. The cost of hiring a plumber to deal with this kind of problem is too high. This snake is very easy to use and can easily fit into smaller pipes. Just loosen the screws holding the metal snake in place and you can pull the snake out by hand. After you have pushed the snake into the desired position, turn the handle and it will rotate the metal snake in the pipe. This will break any splinters or catch the hair, allowing you to pull it out of the snake. I recommend washing the snake after use. Then, gradually push the snake into the tube, allowing it to roll inside. Finally, tighten the screws so the snake doesn't get pulled out

This product provided everything needed materially to repair the drain but I would suggest watching a video to make sure you have got the technique right. I had my own gloves so I did not use the ones they provided and ca not speak to how strong they are. The tool worked correctly though and successfully got my tub to drain faster. Definitely have a rag or two close by to clean the tool as it retracts. And a small trash bag to dispose of whatever you pull out of the drain because to fully clear a drain you will likely need to repeat the process more than once. This was a great tool and made me feel competent which is always a win!

I had my own gloves so I did not use the ones they provided and ca not speak to how strong they are. The tool worked correctly though and successfully got my tub to drain faster. Definitely have a rag or two close by to clean the tool as it retracts. And a small trash bag to dispose of whatever you pull out of the drain because to fully clear a drain you will likely need to repeat the process more than once. Used this tool to open up a shower drain that was almost completely blocked. Everything else had failed ,, liquid drain cleaners. plastic hair removal tools. wet vac. etc. Within minutes. I pulled out a massive wad of hair. After that. the drain was as good as new. Just be patient with the tool. Do not force it. Rotate the handle and let the tip of the wire find its way down the pipe. Getting past the first bend is the tricky part. but again. just be patient and keep spinning it until it ,bites., This device saved me hundreds of dollars on plumbers fees. and should be in EVERY homeowner is toolbox.

I bought these little plastic snakes first and they are fine if they jam within the first 12 inches. But this time the sewer was blocked, so I bought this snake because it's 16 feet long. It works really well. I think I may have dropped 6 feet. It took me about 10 minutes to pull and push to make sure the blockage was gone. It worked, so I'm happy - no $250 plumber. Then I took a bleached cloth, took it out of the drain and wiped it clean, let it air dry for a few hours, and rewinded it. Super easy - a great product.
