Great trimmer. Just as good as corded model which I've had for years. Battery lasted through cutting a hedge and several bushes. I have a cordless weed whacker that uses same battery so if the battery should run out I have an extra. Seems to cut through up to at least 1/2". I cut through the extension cord of my other trimmer more than once. Love cordless tools. Battery is relatively light weight. Trimmer easy to use and I'm a senior lady.

Easy to use and light weight. I have only used it one time to trim 2 giant tea olive shrubs and 1 camellia, all of which had not been trimmed in over 3 years, very overgrown. This trimmer made quick work of them and had plenty of power left. I look forward to using it on my huge blueberry bushes in the fall.

If you are single and do many gardening jobs yourself, this hedgetrimmer is a Godsend...its pretty lightweight, 5 pounds..easy to handle....had very little vibration when on, pretty quiet for its power... Cuts super well...I had 1/2 in to 3/4 I inch branches it cut through with ease...but I wouldnt recommend it for anything thicker than that.to keep the blade sharper... I have 4 HUGH box bushes right in front of my home....they were terribly overgrown....I was out there for a total of 20 minutes and got the job done in no time, cleanup took more time than this...I was thrilled...Battery life so far is good.. charging is a snap and so is putting the item which has only two pieces (guard and handle to put on) so far I am terrifically satisfied with this hedgetrimmer and I don't have to depend on people who now anymore to do it. I enjoy being out in the yard....good therapy!!

Trimming hedges was my least favorite yard chore. Pictured in before and after images is my Green Monster. This used to take at least 45 minutes to trim, minus clean-up time. Just got this trimmer with a 20" blade, which I tried it out for the first time this morning. 25 minutes, including clean-up! The big difference? Remember to charge the battery until the light is solid green (I just did it overnight). There was no difference in performance after 25 minutes of use. Just the same, I think I will invest in a second battery.I highly recommend this -- and I'm am NOT AT ALL a tool guy.

I'm in my 40s, but I'm lazy, short, and hate yardwork with a passion. I live on a little farm and I usually think that if I really want any greenery trimmed back, I didn't want anything that was harder to operate than an electric toothbrush. I didn't want to deal with cords, or gasoline, or having to read instructions. I didn't want anything heavy or unweildy. This fit the bill perfectly. I charged up the battery, put on some safety goggles and went to town. This trimmer was so light and easy to use; you can switch directions and hands at will, and it cuts through bushes like butter. I even chopped through some pretty significant branches (thicker than 3/4 inches across) with no problems. I used it for 45 minutes and it didn't run out of charge. Whacking at things with this tool is actually really fun.

I bought this to trim weeds, not bushes. I bought this because there are certain sections of our property that get overrun by weeds every year. I don't know what planet these weeds came from, but the best weed killers have a hard time with them. Because they run out of control, they get tall really fast (we're also not that pro-active in getting rid of them when we notice them growing). When they're tall, they're difficult to mow with a lawn mower. We bought a string trimmer, but I we go through so much string it's not even funny. This machine actually does a great job with chopping down weeds to a height that our lawn mower can easily manage.

This is the best hedge trimmer we have ever had, and we have been married for 52 years. It is versatile, maneuverable and cuts quite quickly and with a lot of power. We have some thick monkey grass in the flower gardens that needed trimming and four very thick and tough patches of Zebra Grass that grows in 4 big clumps in the yard. Every late fall we trim the Zebra grass back to get fresh new growth in the spring and summer. This trimmer just screamed through the clumps and made a difficult and dreadful job much less onerous. We are happy to have found this trimmer and think quite a bit of it. We recommend it without reservation.

You will not be disappointed ! I have 3 acres of landscaped yard, with a multitude of bushes, shrubs, and small decorative trees. With that being said, this hedge trimmer is a life saver. I have used it for hours on end and it is a beast. I know that you may not believe that, but with as much as I use it, I can honestly tell you that I was really surprised. It'll cut through thick and thin. The thicker branches you have to give it a few seconds to chop through, but it has done everything I've tried it on.

I bought this battery-powered hedge trimmer because I didn't want to drag (or accidentally cut) a corded trimmer all around the exterior of my house while trimming hedges. This hedger is very light and easy to maneuver....and it does a wonderful job doing exactly what I purchased it for. I'm unsure how well it would stand up if used constantly in z commercial manner, but it's fantastic for light work around my yard, cutting and topping hedges with ease! Highly recommended.

First we have a bunch of bushes and shrubs that need trimming throughout the year located around the house. This meant that we were looking for a cordless trimmer as we could never get enough cords to reach all the bushes.Second, we were looking for a light weight trimmer one that would be readily maneuverable, particularly working above shoulder level. The trimmer is very light weight and exceptionally well balanced. The battery pack in the handle puts the balance point just above your hand making for easy cutting and movement.Overall we are very happy with our trimmer, well worth the money and it’s something we look forward to having for a long time.
